2024 Georgian Bay Garden Tour General

The Georgian Bay Garden Tour is an annual tour that is held in the second week in August, and encompasses properties in Midland, Penetanguishene, and the Townships of Tay and Tiny.

The Georgian Bay Garden Tour will take place on Saturday, August 10th in support of Hospice Huronia. Wristbands + Brochure/Maps can be purchased for $25.00. Wristbands must be worn to access the gardens during the tour. Tickets and further information is available at www.gbgardentour.com.

Turtlefest at Scales Nature Park General

TurtleFest 2024 is right around the corner! Join us on August 17th and 18th at Scales Nature Park to release hatchling turtles to the local wetlands. 

 

Every year, the START Project incubates thousands of turtle eggs from at-risk populations and releases them back to the wild, increasing their chances of survival and helping to conserve these vital species. Come join us and celebrate another successful season of turtle conservation work!

 

Explore our nature centre and trails and enjoy fun family activities. Admission is by donation and registration is required. Please go to scalesnaturepark.ca/turtlefest-registration to register for the release you would like to attend.
