EROM (Engaging Residents of Oro-Medonte), a private citizen group in Oro-Medonte invites you to an interactive session with guest speaker Sean Hertel, Registered Professional Planner (RPP) and University Lecturer. Together let's start the discussion about future development in our township.
Sunday, May 5th, 2024 at the Oro-Medonte Community Centre in Guthrie.
Doors open at 1:30 pm. Session starts at 2:00 pm.

Please bring your scrap items to this important event! You will be helping to keep our community clean, and at the same time, raise funds. These funds are necessary, and will be put right back into our community.
Accepted Items:
- Aluminum and metal lawn furniture, metal tables, bed frames & furniture
- Pop and food cans (bagged please), pots and pans, other metal household items
- TV antennas, satellite dishes, e-waste, electric motors
- Metal windows, construction supplies, and appliances
- Metal tire rims, car and machinery parts, engines and car batteries
- Lawn mowers, fencing, wheel barrows, and bicycles
- Wiring, pipes, tubing, copper, aluminum, stainless steel, brass, cast iron, and more.
Items that CANNOT be accepted:
- Glass, garbage, tires, propane tanks.
**Pickup of items can be arranged, depending on size and distance (i.e., heavy farming equipment, cars and machinery).

The Spring Flower Show will also take place. We meet upstairs in the Oro-Medonte Community Centre

This is a FUNDRAISER FOR COPE SERVICE DOGS! Admission is FREE--DONATIONS REQUESTED FOR COPE SERVICE DOGS.
Bring your instrument and play some tunes with the backup band. Come and dance or square dance or just come and listen.
Dogs in training will be there.
Craighurst Women's Institute will be running a cash snack bar. It's a fundraiser for them as well.
If you cannot attend, but would like to donate to COPE, go to their web-site www.copedogs.org, click on support/donate, insert Fiddle Day in, Tribute, make your donation. Amounts of $20.00 or more qualify for a tax receipt.
10:00 AM| 15th/16th Sideroad and Line 7 north
The plant sale takes place at the Oro Fair Grounds and starts at 10:00 am sharp. Hundreds of native plants, perennials and shrubs. Cash, credit cards and debit are accepted. Use the entrance off 15th/16th sideroad.
2:00 PM| 1734 Penetanguishene Road
Donation per person: $10.00 to The Dalston Crown Hill United Church and the performer.
Rick Groves will be playing Lightfoot classics as well as original songs inspired by Gordon Lightfoot. Refreshments will be provided by Fox's Bakery & Rick Groves.
The event will also have a draw for 5 gift tickets donated by Stacked Pancake House in Barrie. The seating capacity for the event will be 60-100, so please contact rickgroves29@rogers.com to reserve your seats!
